But I bet it is, because you’re no dummy. You know deep down, that the way you’ve been building your business just isn’t good enough. You’ve come to realize that there has to be a better way.
So I’ll tell you why network marketing seems so hard.
Network marketing is a little like playing “Pin The Tail On The Donkey.” Selling your product and services or recruiting new business builders is like being blindfolded in a pitch-black room with the tail in your hand.
Your job is to pin it to the target.
You’ve been fumbling about in the dark because you haven’t had access to some vital information about your prospects.
You had no way of knowing what they were thinking about. So a lot of what you thought was true about them, isn’t. If you’ve sponsored anyone at all, it’s probably closer to an accident than planned.
If you don’t know what your prospect really wants, nothing else matters. Your chances of connecting with them is at best, random.
When you know what your prospect is thinking you know exactly what to say in your ads.
You know exactly what to say on the phone. You know exactly what to put on your web site, in your letters or even in your YouTube video’s.
In fact, knowing what your prospect wants, what they really want to accomplish more than anything else - that conversation that’s going on in their head - is the key to making all sorts of promotional tools work.

There are two fundamental things that separates network marketing from other types of businesses and ways of making money. And in large part these two factors explain about 90% of the problems and frustrations people experience in this business.- With 18 Million
people just in the USA alone involved in network marketing, it’s the
only business model marketed to the general public on such a massive
scale. Think about what this really means for a second... There are
huge implications. Network marketing is often promoted on the premise that
“anyone can do this.” There are other business opportunities that promote
this way too, but none have even come close to the scope of network
marketing.
- Nowhere else will you find over 18 Million people trying to do something they know little about. It’s amazing really. Millions of people trying to run a business and only about 1% of them have any experience in running a business of any kind.
That’s not right or wrong - it’s just what it happens to be.
What’s not OK is that people are told that they don’t need any skills to run their business or make it grow into the income only 3% enjoy.
They are told they don’t need to know anything about marketing or about qualifying people. They are told, “Don’t worry about who your prospect is, what they really want or why they want it... just start talking to people.” “It will all work by itself, like magic.”
So, right off the bat, people are given the impression that a dog with a note in it’s mouth could do it (I was actually told that by my sponsor in my first company). And the little “sales training” or “prospecting education” network marketing companies do provide is, sorry to say, ineffective.
How Should You
Respond if your MLM prospect says yes?
Don’t try to sell or explain anything! Say that’s
can you give me the best email to contact you on and I will send you a short
video, or some info that will tell you all about it.
If they want more information, just say, “Well,
I’ll be glad to answer any question you may have, but (I don’t have the time
right now or this isn’t right time and place or whatever reason is
appropriate), so how about you give me your number and I’ll give you call to
set up a time we can get together? How do you spell your last name and what’s
your number? When’s a good time to reach you?”
How do I respond if
the person says no?
If the person says no, no problem just resume the
conversation and the best way to that is to ask a question, like, so tell me
what do you think is the best coffee in this place?…
MLM Prospecting is all
about finding out if people are open to taking a look at your opportunity. So
many people get into hard sell mode when they are prospecting and tell people
why they should be interested in their opportunity and it just doesn’t work in
fact it pushes people away.
To reach the top of any MLM pay plan you must
master the skill of prospecting for your business, I learned a lot of my skills
through Ray Higdon he is an amazing prospector and this is part of
what Ray teaches.
Mastering MLM prospecting and doing it on a
daily basis, will not only ensure that your business continues to grow it will
ensure those that join you will also have success because they will do what you
